The Zula Patrol® Science Stations are Zula themed, self-contained, portable, table-top, interactive exhibits with custom graphics. Zula Science Stations are designed to be transportable, quickly set up and easily packed away for storage. The Zula Science Stations can display one or two interactive experiences and the ability exists to interchange the presenting activities with other activities and graphics stored in the traveling case. The Zula Patrol® Science Stations are appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use as well as short term and long term display. The Zula Patrol® Science Station Catalog currently encompasses science concepts about space, weather and force & motion, but they are also customizable for your specific science topic need.
COSI, a leader in inquiry-driven education experiences, has teamed up with The Zula Patrol® to provide Zula-themed Camps, Workshops and Birthday Parties. A variety of initial topics are available and customization is always possible. COSI provides the program guidelines and initial set of materials, Zula provides the character recognition, and your facility reaps the reward!
Zula and the NHSA both recognize that there is a critical void in early science education and math literacy skills throughout the United States. Research shows that the receptive preschool and early elementary age groups are the most effective and appropriate developmental stages for introducing basic science and math concepts.
Zula's science and math curriculum aligns with the NHSA mission and provides an important foundation for the development of critical thinking skills - a key component to a child's success in life!
So Zula and NHSA have partnered to promote and improve science and math education among preschoolers.
A partnership of the Zula International and the National Science Teachers Association, this award recognizes two pre-Kindergarten through second grade school teachers, who have innovative science inquiry programs in early education. One award will honor a member of either the National Science Teachers Association or the Council of Elementary Science International, while the second will honor a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children or the National Head Start Association.
